Just a mile from the studio in the heart of Wivenhoe, yards from the river Colne. The Black Buoy, thought to be the oldest pub in Wivenhoe (see it’s history here) is a great, characterful pub which offers good food and live music most weekends. There are two comfortable rooms for guests so it’s like a home from home. With lots of countryside close by, it’s the ideal base from which to explore the local area.
