Classic Framed Purse Workshop
Come and enjoy a morning making a classic framed leather purse complete with a detachable shoulder strap. You get to choose from a wide range of leather colours and lining fabrics . The purse measures 20cm across the top of the frame by 17cm tall and 26cm wide and 6 cm deep at the base. The strap can be part leather like the one shown or all chain or all leather. There is also a choice between brushed brass or silver finish hardware to best suit your tastes and design. All sewing is done on one of my 3 INDUSTRIAL SEWING MACHINES which you will get to practice on first.
This is a great introductory course to working with leather on the sewing machine.
You will end up with a completely personalised purse which makes the perfect gift or a nice treat to keep for yourself!
