Hand stitched Leather Laptop Case Workshop
Come and learn how create your very own personalised leather laptop case, at my Essex studio, from veg-tanned leather using the traditional methods of saddle stitching. Firstly, you will learn to make your own pattern to fit your specific laptop. Next, you will prepare the leather for cutting and learn the art of traditional leatherwork by saddle stitching and subsequently finishing the edges by burnishing and/or painting them. There is a choice of tan, dark brown, green or black leather, coloured threads and two different fastenings to use for your closure. Furthermore, you may finish off your case by personalising it with embossing your name/initials with a letter stamping set.
Workshop duration: approx. 3 hours from 10am to 1pm

Highly recommend this leather laptop case course. Had a fabulous day in great surroundings with a fully equipped studio. Rosanna is friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful. Very pleased with the bespoke laptop case which I made and will be able to use in my every day in my work. My husband gave me this class as my birthday pressie, it was brill I made a hand stitched laptop case. This was my first attempt at leather work and it turned out fab (even if I do say so myself). Rosanna was a very good tutor and let your own flare come out in what you make.
