Full Day Leather Craft Workshop
Enjoy a day of making up to five products of your choice. Choose from a variety of things including a leather bound sketchbook, lined purse with a metal zip, coin purse with a press fastener or felt lined trinket tray. As with the half day course, this is perfect for beginners and will provide you with some of the basic skills and knowledge to go away and continue working with leather on your own. The session will include tuition, materials and tea or coffee and you just need to bring a packed lunch. This makes the perfect activity for a birthday, hen or stag party or just to meet up with your friends.
You will finish the session with up to 5 complete leather accessories, knowledge about different types of leather and leather working tools as well as a list of suppliers for tools and materials should you wish to continue your new hobby!
Maximum 4 people at my Essex studio
Workshop duration: 6-7 hours, 10am to approx. 5pm

What a fantastic day and such a wonderful antidote to the horrors of the 'real' world right now.
I fully immersed myself in this one day course and came away with 5 gorgeous pieces which, even if I say so myself, look astonishingly professional!
I came away on a real high, having re-ignited my creative juices and learnt some new skills.
Rosanna is just lovely; a brilliant teacher who is clearly passionate about what she does and happy to share her knowledge in a calm, clear, patient way.
The studio is superbly equipped and Rosanna made the space safe and comfortable in these tough times.
Highly recommended for anyone with a curiosity for being creative.

The day long Leatherwork Course I did with Rosanna Clare was brilliant. I received the course as a gift from my fiancé who though I may enjoy learning a new skill - she was right! Hosted by Rosanna in her workshop, the class was able to get confident with new tools and techniques, and then decide on a range leather products to make during the day. I went for a card holder, trinket tray and purse, on which I was able to incorporate different leathers, suede, stitching types and textures. The choice of material was great, giving all my pieces real character and uniqueness. The opportunity to emboss and personalise them as gifts was lovely too. Done in a relaxed environment where people went at their own pace, decided on what they wanted to make and be ably guided by Rosanna made this a great day of learning and going home with pieces (and a skill) I'm very happy with. Would fully recommend for everyone, regardless of age, skill level, confidence or knowledge. Thanks Rosanna Clare!

This was a fantastic course and I would say one of the best craft courses I have been on. Rosanna was very knowledgeable and I really enjoyed her calm but very detailed approach to leather teaching. It was a very relaxing day and my dad and I didn't want to go home as we enjoyed it so much! We couldn't stop talking about how much we loved it on the way home. I would definitely recommend this course and it is great value for money considering what you learn and make. The course was a gift for my dad for Xmas, as he wants to pursue leather making but after completing this course, I too will continue to make some leather accessories at home.

What a fab day! The course was paced exactly to meet our needs and with 4 people there we were all able to work at our own speed on different projects. Rosanna had a wide range of project ideas for us to choose from and a huge choice of leather colours ensuring we all came away with unique products to be proud of. I booked a day course with Rosanna for my husband and I to try out leather working. We had a lovely day. Rosanna is a great teacher and made us very welcome. We made 5 pieces each and are really pleased with them. We learned enough to be able to carry on at home. Highly recommended.
